Parc Asterix is even closer, and better if it is rollercoasters what you like. Even Versailles is close for a day visit.
Overlooking the forested Tuscany Hills, it is located in Figline, halfway between Florence and Arezzo.
It is divided by two, with water parks on either side connected by a train. There is a great variety of restaurants and cafes, all with awe inspiring views.
This one is located, in L’Estartit, Costa Brava, Spain, it is very well maintained with an extremely big pool. It features tennis courts, football pitches, ponies and a mini-golf.
The seaside town of L’Estartit has lots of restaurants and a good beach and water sports. There’s a great water park nearby at Lloret de Mar, which has a great beach. And above all, Barcelona is near enough for a day trip.
Camping Le Vieux Port
This huge campsite is located in Messange, Gascony, tucked in the pine forests of the south west of France.
Le Vieux Port has an immense beach stretching as far as the eye can see. Then you may head inland to tour the place on horses. Biarritz is just an hour drive away.
Bella Italia Camping Site on Lake Garda
Located in Peschiera de Garda, Veneto this is a huge campsite with a large pool, tennis, football and many activities for kids on the edge of Lago di Garda.
The area is surrounded by postcard type small villages around the lake, such as Sirmione, Torri del Benaco and Riva del Garda.
Bella Italia features a host of theme parks, including water parks, Movie Land and Gardaland.
And best of all it’s a short distance away from everybody’s dream, the city of Venice on the Adriatic Sea.
Son Bou Menorca Camping
Located in Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, it is luxurious camping. It includes playground, tennis court and pool.
The guests have the option of tent camping or hiring cabins. Other activities include hiking, biking, canoeing, surfing, water skiing and horseback riding among others.
It is located in Bodenwöhr, Germany and is ranked among the best campsites in Europe. It is located on a lakeside forest with awesome scenery in front of you.
Here you may rent a bicycle, go hiking, fishing, swimming and canoeing. If you aren’t the type for tents, they offer cabins and also have space for camper-vans and caravans on site.
Kattegat Strand Camping
This one is up north in Aalborg, Denmark near the fishing village of Oster Hurup. It is surrounded by beautiful beaches and coastal grassland.
This is a large camp with about 600 pitches and offers a large variety of activities, including fishing and swimming.
Half Island River Camp
Located in Bosnia Herzegovina, it brings the campers to untouched sites in Europe. It is near the town of Buna at the Buna River, a very pretty town.
The grounds of the cam are simple, but don’t get disappointed, go disappear on the forests and don’t miss a visit to Buna.
Lake Shkodra Resort
Located in this once totally closed country, Albania. It is for those on a budget. The natural beauty of this country is mind boggling and it is still not “invaded” by the crowds of tourists.
It is a family-oriented camp located on a lake and has some restaurant and bar on site.
