The Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark
Located just a few minutes’ walk from the town center of Copenhagen, the Capital of Denmark, this park and entertainment center should not be missed by anyone and especially families with children.
Tivoli is a must for all children and those who like to play. Tivoli is located just a few minutes’ walk from City Hall, and with the Copenhagen Central Station as its nearest neighbor it is very easy to get to.
In 2013 they opened a new are with many rides such as roller coaster with its original look, with two mountain tops being the tallest 26 m over the park and a waterfall fall of 20 meters.
Tivoli is the world’s second oldest amusement park and is by far one of the top attractions in Copenhagen.
The Little Mermaid guarding the harbor of Copenhagen
This is a bronze statue by Danish Sculptor Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark.
By the way it’s much smaller than we thought. It was based on the story of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen; it has been a major tourist attraction since 1913.
Main Entrance to the National Gallery of Denmark
The National Gallery of Denmark in Danish the Statens Museum for Kunst is Denmark’s largest art museum, featuring outstanding collections of Danish and international art from the past seven centuries.
Apart from the permanent collection the museum also shows temporary exhibitions. Recently both Picasso and Bob Dylan have had some of their paintings exhibited.

Legoland Billund a wonder for children and adults alike
This is the original Legoland park, opened in 1968 in Billund, Denmark. It is located next to the original Lego factory near Denmark’s second largest airport in Billund.
It has been visited by more than 50 million people since its opening. It is by far the largest tourist attraction in Denmark outside of Copenhagen.
A visit to this world renowned zoo is always a treat, now they opened a new wing for Polar Bears, North Atlantic Birds and Seals.
Stroget Pedestrian Mall In Copenhagen
This is Copenhagen’s main business street and Europe’s longest Pedestrian Mall with an array of shops for all budgets and tastes.
It runs from City Hall Square all the way to Kongens Nytorv square.
This is a super amusement park located between the beach and the forests in the region of North Jutland
This museum is located in North Zealand’s coast across the sound from Sweden. It houses an amazing collection of modern art.
ARos Art Museum in Aarhus, Denmark
The largest museum in Aarhus and one of the largest in Northern Europe
Family fun and laughter no matter what your age – that’s what you find at BonBon-Land in Holme-Olstrup – just outside Næstved.
Built in the 17th Century, this is the oldest functioning observatory in Europe. It was built by King Christian IV.
Founded in 1888, this is an art museum of modern and ancient art.
A visit to the Odense Zoo in Denmark is an adventure
This is a spectacular Zoo with more than 2,000 animals from all over the world, like tall giraffes, antelopes and more.
Here you’ll find orangutans, polar bears and many more animals for the delight of the children.
This theme park Tivoli Friheden is located in the city of Aarhus near the city center in the amazing Marselisborg Forest.
Located in Copenhagen, the Capital of Denmark, it features exhibits of the Stone, Age, the Vikings Age, the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Modern Danish History.
