  • Turósgombóc is a Hungarian sweet quark cheese dumpling
  • Májgaluska are small liver dumplings used in different soups

  • Lángos is fried bread dough

  • Pogácsa is a type of bun, round puffed pastry with bacon, traditionally cooked on the fire
  • Zsemle are round small breads, eaten cut in half, with butter, cold cuts or jam, often served for breakfast
  • Kifli crescent shaped pastry, similar to croissants
  • Perec are the world famous pretzels salty and crispy.
  • Bundás kenyér means literally, "coated bread" or "bread with a fur", are simply Hungarian French Toasts.

  • Vekni  is the variation of the French Bagette.
