The capital and main city of the Alsace region of France this is multicultural city thanks to its proximity to Germany. We once took a train from Strasbourg to Baden Baden in Germany for the day.
Strasbourg is the seat of several European institutions, such as the Council of Europe, with its European Court of Human Rights, its European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and its European Audiovisual Observatory, as well as the Euro corps and the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman of the European Union.
The center of town called Grande Île was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Belvedere Castle in Vienna the Capital of Austria
The Capital of Austria, Wien in German, is one of the loveliest romantic destinations. I have visited Vienna several times. It was once ranked among the top livable cities in the world.
Here romantic couples will find music, museums, great cuisine and many sites like Schönbrunn Palace and Belvedere Palace with its marvelous gardens and interiors.
But nothing compares with the pleasure of strolling on Karntnerstrasse with its beautiful stores and above all the Pastry Shops where to find the typical Sachertorte.

Parque Eduardo Setimo in Lisbon, Portugal
It is the largest city and Capital of Portugal on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. With its more than 3 million inhabitants, this is a lovely city that will be your first station to visit the rest of Portugal. Some of the other important sites are nearby like Estoril and Cascais.
The Portuguese Cuisine is delicious and very similar to the Galician Cuisine of the northern neighbor. If you like Fado music this is the cradle of it. There are tours offering places where to listen to this type of music.
There are two very important UNESCO Heritage sites in Lisbon; they are the Belem Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery.
Fira is the capital of Santorini one of the Greek Islands
In my opinion this is the most beautiful of the Greek Islands and one of top romantic destinations in the Mediterranean.
It is located on the southern Aegean Sea and is the southernmost of the Cyclades group of Islands.
It is composed of Santorini and Therasia and the uninhabited islands of Nea Kameni, Palaia Kameni, Aspronisi, and Christiana.
One of the sites to visit is Caldera a lagoon formed when Santorini was created due an enormous volcanic eruption that happened about 3,600 years ago.
And is an island with high cliffs dropping into the Aegean Sea.
Romantic couples come to Santorini for its relaxed laid back atmosphere, to dine the best Greek Cuisine and taste their delicious “Ouzo” and many tasty wines.
The sunsets from Santorini are awe inspiring.

They are remains somewhat underdeveloped and this is its charm to the visitors. The towns are connected by roads and also by boat.

Its Old Town, the third largest in Europe with an area of 4 Km2 contains three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Alcázar Palace complex, the Cathedral and the General Archive of the Indies. The Seville harbour, located about 80 Km from the Atlantic Ocean, is the only river port in Spain.
Sevilla has many monuments and museums, but above all the Cuisine which is fantastic.
